Ronald Richard Whaley (Too Tall) of Sevierville succumbed to brain cancer at 6:57AM Thursday July 4, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 45 years old.
He was a loving son and nephew and had a special love for his twin sister, Rhonda Needham. He was of the Baptist faith. Until the sickness kept him home he loved the outdoors, talking with his CB Buddies and spending time with his dog, Digger.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Whaley, grandparents; Carl and Grace Autrey, and Clell and Grace Whaley.

Sister: Rhonda Needham
Half sister: Rebecca Richey
Half brother: Daniel Whaley
Aunts and uncles: Melody and David Webb, Donna and Gary Wisscombe, Harrison Autrey, Joanne and Dink Finchum, Angela and Darrell Meadows, Harold and Mattie Whaley, Clell Whaley and fiancé Melinda
Nephews: Ronnie and Justin Needham
Special Nephews: Preston Webb and fiancé Ashley Burroughs, Clay Willis
Special friends: Tim O'Roark and CB Buddies
The family will receive friends 4:30 PM Sunday at Jones Chapel Baptist Church with memorial service to follow at 5 PM with Rev. Jerry Fancher officiating. Cremation arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
