Clemon Lucille Miller , 91, died April 14, 2013, at Forest park Health Campus after a long illness. She was born Sept. 1, 1921, in Washington County, Va., near Bristol, Va., to Zedie and Rosie Worley Turner and lived here since 1946. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for Decca Records and Moto-Mower. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a former member of the Kirk Little V.F.W. Post No. 1108 Auxiliary. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, and housekeeping. Her family wishes to thank everyone at Forest Park for the loving care they gave Clemon . Survivors include three children, James D. (Zella) Miller Sr. of New Castle, Edward L. (Barbara) Miller of Richmond, and Betty (Bill) Lawman of Richmond;four grandchildren, Jim Miller Jr., Melissa Foley, Lori McDonald, and Amy Boyce-Holliday of Richmond, two step grandchildren, David and Donald Lawman;11 great-grandchildren;one brother, Charles Turner of Richmond;three sisters, Martha Fleenor of Bristol, Tenn., Audrey Barker of Centerville, and Norma Smith of Bristol, Tenn.;and nieces and nephews. Her husband James died in 1992;one son, Robert Miller ;one granddaughter, Cindy Miller -Ramsey;her parents;two brothers, Clayton and Fred Turner;and one sister, Edith Snodgrass are also deceased. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
