Ann Hance , 80, of Dandridge, (Chestnut Hill Community), passed away at 4 p.m. Monday, August 3, 1998, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee at Knoxville, following an extended illness.
She was a member of the Hills Union United Methodist Church and was a retired em ployee of Bush Bros. & Co. of Chestnut Hill after 40 years of service.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert P. and Grace T. Hance .
Survivors: sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Kate Thornton and Inez Dockery, both of Dandridge, Robbye and Ed Wilson of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Pauline Bishop of Oak Ridge; 11 nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday at Farrar's Dandridge chapel with Rev. John Clark and Rev. Lisa Stone officiating. Interment graveside services will be 11 a.m.
Thursday at Hills Union Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church, c/o Geraldine George, 1451 Ponderosa Drive, Dandridge, TN, or Hills
Union Cemetery, c/o Lorene Hance , 1503 Sandy Ridge Rd., Dandridge, TN.
Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge in charge of arrangements.
