Ms. Lillie M. Hall, age 84, of Newport, passed away Saturday morning, June 22, 2013, at Tennova Newport Convalescent Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother Swannie Hall, aunt Connie Kyker, and uncle Wade Hall.
She is survived by her children Shelia (Lowell) Sutton, Ruble (Cathy) Ball, and Kathy (James) Holt, all of Newport; grandchildren Scott Wilde, Eric Ball, and Wesley Ball, all of Morristown; Kenny Myers of Newport; and Dr. Thomas Sutton of Abington, VA; several great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Phillips and Drama Childs, both of Newport. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Watts officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Hall Family Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
