ALLEN , MARJORIE LEE - age 65 of Knoxville, passed away Friday at Farragut Health Care. She went to the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ after a courageous battle with diabetes. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church & a homemaker. Preceded in death by: parents, Simon Franklin & Francis Ruth Ankrom husband, Robert Rice Allen & a brother, James Franklin Ankrom. Survived by: daughter, Tamara Allen of Knoxville son & daughter-in-law, Gregory Allen & wife Lisa of Rochester, NY brother and sister-in-law, Charles Edward & Sarah Ankrom of Knoxville sister, Shirley Angeline Morton of Knoxville several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Father John O'Neill officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Pallbearers: Charles Edward Ankrom, Jake Ankrom, Michael Morton, Steven Morton, John Hackworth, Roger Pickens. In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to National Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee, 4450 Walker Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37917. Friends may call at their convenience at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
