He is survived by his mother, Doris Wilson; special friend, Mary VanKirk; daughters, Kathy Jackson, Jennifer Hughes and Michelle Wilson; son, Shane Hopkins; brother, Curtis Wilson; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, with the family receiving friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon with Rev. Rick Hollifield, Rev. Tommy Lindsey and Rev. John Thompson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery.
