Frazier, David Robert Sr. – age 75 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. Member of Riverdale Baptist Church. US Army veteran and 1955 graduate of Carter High School. Retiree of ASARCO, Inc. with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Ester Frazier. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Velma Frazier; sons, David Robert Frazier, Jr. and Freddy Ray Frazier; daughter, Reba Frazier Lea; step-daughter, Sharon Kay Barber and husband John; grandchildren, Adam, Brad, Brittany, Kristen, Erik, and David III; brother, Freddy George Frazier and wife Jewell; sister, Fay Broyles and husband Earl; nieces, Janet and Rhonda; nephews, Todd and Neal; several cousins; and many friends. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Vincent officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM Sunday at the funeral home and proceed to Asbury Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment. Pallbearers: Reford Douglas, Robert Dockery, Tom Miller, Jim Miller Jr., Mike Loveday, and Ron McPherson. Honorary pallbearers: Jim Miller, Sr. and Oliver Pickel. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike 865-523-4999.
