Ora Geneva Jeffreys, 83, Greenfield, died at 7:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 1996, at a local nursing home after a long illness. Mrs. Jeffreys was born Dec. 5, 1912, in Dade County. She was a homemaker and lived in Dade County most of her life. She was a member of the Mount Nebo Baptist Church. She married George T. Jeffreys on July 23, 1933, in Dade County. He died on Feb. 27, 1995. Survivors include two sons, John Jeffreys and Dale Jeffreys, both of Greenfield; two daughters, Sue Clements, Lamar, and Leona Stiles, Noblesville, Ind.; two brothers, Hollice Harper, Independence, and Lawrence Harper, Greenfield; a sister, Blanche Wilson, Golden City; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
