She was preceded in death by her husband James Conrad Smith; parents, John and Katherine Cross; brothers, Edward, Bobby and June Cross; sisters, Dorothy Lampkin and her husband Elmer Lampkin; Mary Katherine Howard and Charlotte Cross; and sister-in-law, Connie Roberts Smith. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Steven Smith and his wife Sherry of Newport; Dr. Mark Smith and his wife, Margie of Greeneville; grandchildren, Jessica Smith Depew. Seth Adam Smith, Rebecca Smith Styles, Mary Elizabeth Smith Thomas, Matthew Conrad Smith, McKenze Anne Smith and Maxwell Thomas Smith; great grandchildren; Easton Conrad Smith and Kate Jaclyn Depew; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Hugh Anderson of Morristown; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Cross of Soddy Daisy, TN; brother-in-law, Dr. Gordon Roberts of Asheville, NC; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
