MYERS, DOROTHY HUFF - age 82, of Sevierville, died Saturday, February 6, 1999, at Sevier Medical Center. She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Ralph McCarter and E. Ray Myers; parents, Albert Newton and Hettie Butler Huff; brothers, Lyman, Hugh and Fred Huff. She was a member of Middle Creek United Methodist Church and served as Children's Coordinator and Sunday school teacher for 16 years.
Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, George and Barbara McCarter, John and Betty McCarter, Jim and Bea Myers; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Tommy Miller; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step, great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Mary Sue Huff, Elmer and Carol Huff, Herman and Jean Huff, Claude and Casina Huff, Grace Huff, Betty Huff, Gladys Huff and Sarah V. Lindsey.
Funeral service 7 p.m., Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Rev. John Graham officiating. Interment 10 a.m., Tuesday in Middle Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Middle Creek United Methodist Church, 1569 Promise Lane, Sevierville, TN 37862. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
