Jean McCarter age 91 of Sevierville, TN. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
Jean was a member of Oldham’s Creek Baptist Church.
“The sweetest thing I ever done was serving the Lord when I was young”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Annie Newman McCarter; brothers, Curtis, Cecil and Walter McCarter; sisters, Hettie Trentham, Carrie Watson, Mae Lethco, Edith King, Ruby Rolen and Bertha Mullinax.
Survivors include brother, Roy McCarter; nephew, David Mulllinax; niece, Sue McCarter; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Christine Shults, Betty O’Neal, Pleas and Louise Proffitt, Clint and Jennifer McCarter and Jerry Ownby.
Friends and family will meet for a graveside service at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2015 , at Middle Creek Cemetery with Rev. Lowell Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville.
