GARLAND, AUDINE TAYLOR - age 78, of Maryville, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at her home. She was born in Cades Cove and was a descendant of the early settler John Oliver. She was a member of Laws Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Garland; parents, George and Hassell Taylor. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Elder Clarence Hicks of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Sharon Garland of Maryville; grandson, Brandon Hicks of Maryville; granddaughter, Heather Witte of Boise, Idaho; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elder Hoyle Taylor and wife Mayme of Walland, Elder Charles Taylor and wife Agnes of Lenoir City, Rev. Earl Taylor and wife Lucille of Maryville, Ray Taylor and wife Betty of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Ralph Sharp of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Clarence Hicks and Elder Danny McKee officiating. The interment will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at McCammons-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville.
