James Andrew “Andy” Hall, age 56, of Greenback, passed away May 26, 2013 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed at Blount Memorial Hospital for 33 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Hazel (Thompson) Hall; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hubbard Hall. Survivors include: sister and brother-in-law, Liz and Bill Whitehead; brothers, Joe C. Hall and Herman and Janice Hall; nephews, Joey and Justin; nieces, Brittany, Courtney, and Chasity; special friends, Jama Sherwood, and his friends on 4 east and hospital friends; special people at Hospice for taking good care of Andy; and all of his aunts, cousin Susan, friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blount Memorial Hospice, 1095 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Maryville, TN 37804. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Miller Funeral Home, Cedar Chapel, Rev. Jim Lawhorn officiating. The interment will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Cloyds Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
