Elizabeth Treaster Conrad Hussey, 94, of Marianna, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in Marianna. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and retired from Sunland in food service. Ms. Hussey was a member of Rocky Grove Church in Malone. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hussey Jr; her son, Tommy Hussey; and her daughter, Jean Jeter. Survivors include two sons, Jim Hussey and wife, Sue of Marianna; Lynwood Hussey and wife, Sandra of Cochran, Ga.; three daughters, Sybil Brogdon of Grand Ridge, Joyce Prince and husband, Bob of Leesburg, Ga., and Marie Padgett and husband, Joe of Marianna; two brothers, Hubert Conrad and wife, Betty of Augusta, Ga., and Luther Paul Conrad and wife, Elizabeth of Malone; one daughter-in-law, Edith Hussey of Marianna; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Dellwood with Rev. Donnie Hussey officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home-Maddox Chapel directing.
