Robert Lawerence “Monk” Ledford went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February 13, 2015. He was employed by Con-Agra for over thirty years. He was an avid race fan and drove a racecar for many years. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Ronald Lee Ledford; parents, Lonnie and Lora Ledford; sisters, Nora Hale Nelson and Shirley Ledford; nephew, David Jarnagin. He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Ford Ledford; sons, Shane Ledford of the home and Jamie (Kim) Ledford of Newport; brothers, Walter Ledford, James (Francis) Ledford, and Tommy Ledford; sisters, Helen (Jeff) Binford, Darlene Hazelwood (Allen Stanley); father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Rita Ford; sisters-in-law, Vonda (Dean) Gregg, and Debbie Ford; brother-in-law, Shaun (Susie) Ford; special nephews, Rodney (Michelle) Woods, Michael Woods, Braxton Ledford, and Jackson Ford; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Mark Hatley and Rev. Sherman Ball officiating. Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com. Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
