Turner, Don Richard age 58 of Madisonville passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006 at home. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a machinist at Vulcan Materials for 30 years. Don was an avid softball player and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by: Father, Ernest Randolph Turner. Survivors include: Wife, Janis Neff Turner; Son and Daughter-in-law, Shane Richard & Daphne Turner of Maryville; Daughter and Son-in-law, Angel & Scott Watson of Madisonville; Grandchildren, Dayle Payne, Collin Watson, and Shane Richard Turner Jr.; Mother, Juanita Turner of Maryville; Brother and Sister-in-law, Lloyd Martin & Lisa Turner of Madisonville; Sister and Brother-in-law, Mary Jane & Michael Hatcher of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2006 in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ronnie Watson officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road Suite 146, Des Plaines, IL 60018 or Humane Society of Tennessee Valley, 800 Millwood Road, Knoxville, TN 37920.
