Mrs. Aiello , age 86, of North Palm Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, August 9, 1998 after a brief illness. She was born April 7, 1912 in the Gatlinburg, Tennessee, area on land that is now part of The Smokey Mountain National Park. She was the daughter of the late Melvine Carr and Eli McCarter. Mrs. Aiello was a graduate of The Friendsville Academy and The Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Aiello had been a resident of the Palm Beaches since 1940. She was a full time Registered Nurse until she retired. Her passion in retirement was sewing, knitting and quilting for her family and friends.
Mrs. Aiello was preceded in death in June by her beloved husband of 54 years, Eugene J. Aiello , Sr. Mrs. Aiello leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted children: Mary Ann Williams and husband Alan, of Walnut Creek, California, Nancy Kissel and husband Kenneth, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Eugene J. Aiello , Jr. and wife Kathy of North Palm Beach, FL; her adored grandchildren: Ashley, Michael, Kristin and Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6 P.M.8 P.M. Thursday, August 13, 1998 at WM. N. HOWARD FUNERAL HOME, 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach. The funeral services will be Friday, August 14, 1998, at 11 A.M. at NORTHWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH, 3600 Village Boulevard, West Palm Beach, with Dr. Scott Hutchison officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider contributions in memory of Mrs. Aiello to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407, or your favorite charity.
