Judy Beth Clark, age 73, of Kennesaw, Ga., passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church, Powder Springs, Ga., with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Mrs. Clark will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Greenback, Tenn. A native of Greenback, Tenn., Mrs. Clark moved to Marietta, Ga., in 1965. She worked as an accountant for the Cobb County Tax Commissioner’s Office for 29 years before retirement. She was also an active member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a member of the Daughters of Zion Life Group, and she was a member of the Cobb County Retired Employee’s Association, and the Cobb County Republican Women’s Club. Survivors: husband, Leroy Clark, son, Brian (Linda) Clark, Kennesaw, Ga.; sister, Sue Cooper, Greenback, Tenn., two grandchildren, Meagan and Evan Clark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Burnt Hickory Baptist Church for missions and the choir.
