Betty Jo Payne , age 71 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Martha Teffeteller. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Dallas C. Payne ; sons & daughters-in-law, Johnny & Darlene Payne of Maryville, Bill & Sandy Payne of Maryville, Kenneth Wesley & Gina Payne of Kodak and Danny & Crystal Payne of Maryville; son, Randy Payne of Knoxville; daughters, Teresa Daugherty of Knoxville and Tamyra Neloms of Maryville; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Teffeteller of Maryville; sisters, Trula Eldridge of Illinois, Frances Hill of Maryville and Alice Millsaps of Greenback. Funeral service 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2003, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Harry Sherrer and Rev. Joe White officiating. Interment 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Grandview Cemetery.
