BRABSON , ALVIN LORENZA - of Knoxville, departed this life, suddenly on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at his home. He was born in Mascot, Tennessee. Faithful member of the New Covenant Baptist Church. He served in the Armed Services, where he was honorably discharged. Retired from KUB after many years of service. Devoted husband and friend to his wife, Ruby, until her passing on September 24, 2004. Preceded in death by: parents, Vanderbilt and Elizabeth Pearl Brabson five brothers, Harding, Hobert, DeClaude, Ronnie, and Vanderbilt Brabson , Jr. two sisters, Edna Johnson and Della Harris nephew, Edgar Johnson, Jr. wife, Ruby Brabson . He leaves to mourn his passing: sister, Rosa Lee Carero sisters-in-law, Wilma Brabson , Laura Jean Brabson , Charlotte Brabson , Linda Brabson brothers-in-in-law, Earl Mills and Marvin (Sandra) Mills, Cincinnati, OH other relatives to include the Brabson , Miller, Tippitt and Mills families a host of nieces and nephews to include, Gerald Hodge, Geraldetta Dozier, Wilma Gordon and Keira Wyatt and very special friends too numerous to name. Family will receive friends, 10:30-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at New Covenant Baptist Church, funeral service 11:00 a.m., Pastor Frederick Brabson , officiating. Interment Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the home of the late Alvin and Ruby Brabson , 2940 Boyd's Bridge Pk. Arrangements by:
