HARRIS , MRS. RUBY DELLA M. BRABSON HODGE - age 74, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 1998, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Hospital. Graduate of Austin High School. Faithful member of McDonald Drive Church of Christ. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Preceded in death by: parents, Vanderbilt and Pearl Miller Brabson; brothers, DeClaude, Vanderbilt, Jr., Ronnie and Harding Brabson; sister, Edna Johnson. Survivors: devoted sons, Vincent, Sr. (Belinda), Gerald (Kathy) Hodge, Eddie Harris ; daughters, Sonja Sherrine Hodge, Geraldetta (Walter) Dozier, Wilma (Ken) Gordon; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; loving and devoted grandchildren, Stephanie Hodge, Jamie Hodge, Latasha Johnson, S. Karisma Parks, Robert Houseal, Jr. and Corey Page; brothers, Alvin (Ruby) and Hobert (Wilma) Brabson; sister, Rosalie Carero; many devoted cousins to include Madella (Curtis) Scott, Cleveland, Ohio, and Barkley Batman, Knoxville; three sisters-in-law; devoted aunts, Lydia Miller, Kathleen Miller, Cleveland, Ohio, Ruth Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many devoted friends to include Shafiyq Parks, Gladys Senter, Peggy Monk, the Caruthers, Joe Armstrong, Thomas Strickland, David Lytle and Pat Kennedy. The family will assemble at 2615 Selma Avenue. Family will receive friends 12-1 p.m., Monday at McDonald Drive Church of Christ. Funeral service 1 p.m., Bro. David Meek officiating. Interment Crestview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to McDonald Drive Church of Christ. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
