BRABSON, B.T. HARDING - of Knoxville, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 17, 1997, at Baptist Hospital. He was a member of the First African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. He retired from the Alcoa Aluminum Co. and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by mother and father, Vanderbilt and Pearl Miller Brabson; brothers, Dee Claude, Vanderbilt Jr., and Ronnie Brabson; sister, Edna Johnson. He leaves to cherish fond memories: devoted wife, Charlotte Brabson; stepchildren, Crystal Bell, Tonya (Tyrone) Patterson, Dione (Robert) Rodgers; six grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mae Omie Nuckles; brothers, Alvin (Ruby) Brabson, Hobert (Wilma) Brabson; sisters, Della Mae Harris and Rosa Lee Carcro; sister-in-law, Laura Gene and Linda Brabson; brothers-in-law, Johnnie Earls, Charlotte, N.C., Edgar Johnson, Knoxville; aunts, Kathleen Miller, Cleveland, Ohio, Lydia Miller, Knoxville and Ruth Miller, Sevierville, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 21, 1997, at 12 noon at First A.M.E. Zion Church. Rev. Dr. E. Eugene Parker officiating. Interment at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Unity Mortuary.
