September 12, 1939 - January 09, 2014 Mary Kathleen Whitehead, age 74, of Happy Valley, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014. She was a faithful member of Chilhowee Primitive Baptist “Red Top” Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonia Costner; son, Steve Cross; and parents, Jeff and Burdell Whitehead. She is survived by her sons, Jeff and Tony Cross; grandchildren, Kaylee, Nicholas, and Abby Costner; brother, Jack Whitehead; special friends, Les Hearon and Johnny Free; special nieces, Colleen and Jan; and extended family. Family and friends will gather 12:00 PM, after church service, Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church “Red Top” Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev.
