He leaves behind a wife of 65 years, Ida V. Cooper, daughter and son in law, Nancy and William Greer; son and daughter in law, Michael and Dottie Cooper, grandchildren, Ian Goethert, John Goethert, and Chris White; great grandchildren, Addison Taylor White of Maryville, TN, Cooper and Cristina Goethert of Knoxville, TN, and Katie and Christian Goethert of Oak Ridge, TN; brothers, Jay Cooper and wife Helen, Alvin Cooper and wife Georgia; sister in law, Judy Whitehead, several nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
