Betty June Robinson Schultz of Halls passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on December 17, 2008, surrounded by her children. A member of the Ritta Community for many years, she was actively involved in her children’s activities, including the 4-H Club and teaching swimming lessons. After retiring from Hillcrest North, she enjoyed lunches and activities with her many friends from the Central High School class of 1945. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Robinson, her husband, Charles W. Schultz, her daughter Carol Schultz Stamey, her sister Margaret Brown, and her brother Jess Robinson. She is survived by her children Charles and TJ Schultz, Joyce Schultz, Lou Ann Robinson, Fred and Gay Schultz, her siblings Helen Searcy and Charles and Barbara Robinson, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, especially Steve and Linda Brown. Family and friends will meet Sunday at 1:15 pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 1:30 pm.
