DAVIS , LEO BRUCE SR. - 85, of Maryville passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mr. Davis was a Deacon of Prospect Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Navy, serving in World War II. He was proceeded in death by: his wife Gloria Miller Davis . He is survived by: his loving family, son: Leo Davis , Jr. & wife Linda, daughters: Deloris McClanahan & husband Tyson, Bonita Fawver & husband Dennis, Loretta Young & husband Jerry, Denise Jones & husband Richard, Kimberly Kirkland & husband Charles, grandchildren: Leo Davis , III, Tammy Davis , Paula Lawson, Janet Balanetsky, Daniel McClanahan, Brian McClanahan, Kale York, Todd Young, Errin Young, Timothy Young, Amy Jones, Laura Jones and Nicholas Kirkland, and ten great-grandchildren, brothers: Ken Davis , Chester Davis , of Walland, and O.L. Davis , of Morristown, sister: Marie Hafley of Maryville. Mr. Davis is at Highland South, where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2004 at Highland South Chapel, with funeral services following at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Chuck Young & Rev. Charles Condee will be officiating. Interment services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2004 with Military Rites being conducted at Highland South Memorial Park.
