Hunter Levi Frazier, age 3, born March 15, 2010 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2013. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler, playing with his brothers and sisters and Spiderman. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Wilds; great-grandparents, Fayne and Margaret Wilds, Anna Raines, Jess and Naomi Frazier. He is survived by his mother, Eryn Wilds; father, Daniel Frazier; sisters, Shaelynn Swafford, Tapanga Williams and Madaya Davis; brothers, Michael and Landon Frazier; aunt, “Mamaw Isa” Lisa Holt; cousins, Marissa, Alexis, Justin and Dustin Holt, Cheyenne Kelley; uncle, Chuck Kelley; aunt, Valerie Manning; grandfather, “Pappy” Ronald Wilds; grandparents, Eddie and Kathy Frazier, Teresa Collins; aunts of love, Stephanie “Stephy” Gresham, Sandy Foster and Karen Cooper; special friends, Carrie and Christian Cagle, Sarah Patterson, Ed Byrd, Nicole Beretta, Cassie and Brandon Worex; also other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Manes Funeral Home immediately following the visitation the family and friends will go in procession to Resthaven Memorial Gardens for a Graveside service with Rev. Eddie Frazier officiating.

Three-year-old drowns in pool

NEWPORT-A three-year-old boy, Hunter Frazier, apparently drowned in a pool on Saturday afternoon, April 13, on Cambridge Drive, after wandering off by himself, the Newport Police Department reported.
Officers received a call of a possible three-year-old's death at 403 Cambridge Drive, at 2:56 p.m., Capt. Scott Lamb reported.
When officers arrived on the scene, a screaming child approached them and allegedly said, "He is in the back and he has drowned," the report stated.
Police stated they ran to the rear of the residence and found Hunter unconscious and lying on the back of the deck near the pool, according to the report.
