Edward Judson "Juddy" Mottern, Jr., age 60, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born March 18, 1951 in Bristol, TN and the son of the late Edward Judson "Ted" Mottern, Sr. and Alene Victoria Witcher Mottern. He was a tranplant patient at VMC since November 2, 2011. He worked for Blaylock Construction where he became a certified crane operator, then for Burwill Construction. He retired from Hilt's Crane and Garage in 2008. He was a long time member of Zollicoffer Masonic Lodge #444 of Bluff City, TN, and was a member of River Bend Baptist Church. He is survived by: Children: James Andrew Mottern of Dandridge, TN., Jeremiah Judson Mottern of Knoxville, TN, Robert Jonathan Mottern of Gray, TN and Victoria Roxane Mottern of Bristol, TN Four Grandchildren: Gavin Scott, Ezra Cole, Elliott Quinn and Olivia Grace Mottern Sister: Mrs. Tim (Janice) Denton Signicant other of the home: Melissa Carrier and her children, Ashley Mae and Cody Lee Johnson Numerous Friends. A masonic service will be held 6pm Friday, December 30, 2011 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow with Rev. Buddy Chapman officiating.
