Mabel Marie Seay , 77, of Chattanooga, formerly of Knoxville, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at her residence. She was a member of Scott Memorial Church of God. Mrs. Seay was preceded in death by her parents, Fullen King and Clearca Russ; sisters, Mayme Nicholson; brothers, Clarence King, Anson Dale King; and a granddaughter, Cynthia L. Moses. Mrs. Seay is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jonah Seay ; children, Merelyn and husband, Kenneth Moses, of Knoxville, Patricia Seay of Massillon, Ohio, Brice and wife, Janice Seay , of Ooltewah, Joyce and husband, Denis Gallagher, of Chattanooga, and Dwight "John" and wife, Portia Seay , of Kingsport, Tenn; grandchildren, Susan Moses, Ginger Fugunt, Melissa Montgomery, Lisa Baez, Karen Zondo, J.D. Seay II, Heather Seay , Amber Seay and Candice Seay ; sisters, Virginia King of Columbus, Ohio and Vene' Snyder of Newark, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm. Friday, Feb. 14, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Pinter and the Rev. Les Fauntleroy officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
