Anelee Holdway, 81, of Newport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Heritage Center in Morristown.
She was employed by Bush Brothers before her retirement and was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her spouses, Edgar Dwight "Brigham" Holdway and Buford Atkins; son, Edgar Carless Holdway; and brother, Bruce Holt.
Anelee is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Benny and Tammy Holdway, of Newport; Landon and Gail Holdway, of Newport; and Eugene and Lois Holdway, of Newport; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Holdway will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Bradley officiating.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at New Home Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, May 10, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel prior to the service.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Anelee Holdway.
