Kathy Teresa Carrick Ogle, age 57 of Sevierville, went to her Heavenly home Saturday, April 6, 2013 at her home, after a courageous battle of eight years with cancer.
She was a wonderful woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Kathy enjoyed the love of her life, her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. Those who knew her know she always has a story to tell that would put a smile on everyone's face. She was the happiest with a fish on the end of a line, her honey and precious little man by her side. The Queen's smile would always light the room like no other.
She was preceded in death by her parents Francis P. and Julia Carrick
Survivors:
Husband: Lofty Lee Ogle
Daughters: Anna Holcombe (Johnathan Watson), and Kelly Burgess
Grandchildren: Stephanie Rampey, April and Brady Burgess, and Landon Stancil
Sisters-in-law: Darlene Myers (Phil), Loretta Smith, and Jennifer Wilson (Weston)
Brother-in-law: Eddie Ogle
Father-in-law: Coy L. Ogle
The sisters she never had: Julie Brock, Teresa Mynatt, Brenda Baker, Robin Little and Trish Moon
Special Friends: Pete and Kim Revis and Verna Jones
A host of truck driver friends that will miss her greatly.
Many more extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends 4-5 PM Saturday with a celebration of life service to follow at 5 PM in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Ogle, Rev. Edward King, and Rev. John Revis officiating. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
