Mr. Joe H. Biggs age 79, of Sevierville, passed away March 23, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 17, 1934 to the late Ernest and Kathleen Biggs. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed as a security officer at Pellissippi State for more than 20 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Biggs is preceded in death by a brother and a sister. He is survived by: wife, Dorothy Biggs; Son, Joseph (Kimberly) Biggs; Step-sons, Ricky (Tammy) Gibson and James (Donna) Boling; Step-daughter, Cindy (Steve) Byrd; brother, Orville Lee Biggs; sister, Sylvia Avalon; grandchildren, Mary Anna, Hannah, Amanda, Bubba, Robert, Sissy, Kaylie, Katie, Ray, Stevie Joe, Jessica; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mr. Biggs will sadly be missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27th at 7p.m. at Highland South Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5p.m. with Rev. Danny Powell and Chad Powell officiating.
