(February 21, 1959 - March 22, 2016) Ronald (Ronnie) Lee Holloway, age 57 of Newport, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was a faithful member of Old Time Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mary Ann Holloway and John K. and Polly Shelton; step-mother, Louise Holloway; brothers, (Twin) Donnie, Lester, and John Holloway. He is survived by his brother, Larry Holloway; sisters, Joanne Baker, Margie (Bobby) Frazier, Linda (Jerry) Reed all of Newport, and Billy Shelton of Georgia; special friends, Dennis and Gail Rimmer, Grace James, Betty Brown, and Ronald Stokely; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Old Time Gospel Church with Dennis Rimmer and Rev. Glen Ball officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the Stokelys Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday at Old Time Gospel Church prior to the funeral service.
