Sevier crash claims life of Cosby man Author: Nelson Morais COSBY-Ronald D. Jenkins, 24, of Cosby, died in a single-vehicle accident on Ball Hollow Road in Sevier County on Wednesday, March 27, the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported. Jenkins was reportedly driving a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier at about 9:50 p.m., turning left onto Ball Hollow Road in Cosby from a residential driveway. The vehicle struck an embankment on the right side of the road, then crossed over Ball Hollow Road, according to a report by THP Trooper Brian Lawson. Jenkins' vehicle then left the road and landed in a pond, coming to a final rest on its top, Lawson stated in his report.
