Barbara Louise (Bobbie) Floyd age 77 passed away from this life to her heavenly home on November 5, 2014 at UT Medical Center. Bobbie had a smile for everybody and was kind to everyone. We will always remember her that way, she was our angel. Bobbie was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She spent the last ten years of her life at Fairpark. The family would like to thank all the staff at Fairpark and the MCC Unit and PCU Unit at UT Hospital, God Bless each one. Predeased by her parents: Kaley and Ola (Williams) Floyd; brother and wife: Bill and June (Halburt) Floyd and special aunt: Margaret Coatney. Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law: Shirley and Jerry Gurley and Betty and Edmond Greene. Special friends: Joyce and Wilburn Gurley, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins. Recognizing special ones that Bobbie played with when they were little: Melissa, Tina, Edmond, Jr. and Brandon. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Rawlings Funeral Home with services at 7:00 with Rev. David Bayless officiating.
