She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perry Shields, Sr.; her mother, Pearl Presley and father, Thomas Grindstaff; three sisters, Cheri Price, Dorothy Grindstaff, Patricia Grindstaff; three brothers, Tommy Grindstaff, Butch Grindstaff and Frankie Grindstaff; and her special friend, Mildred Buell. Survivors include: sons, Robert Shields, Jr., Troy and wife Van Shields; daughters, Karen and husband Henry White, Terri Shields; two sisters, Wanda Greene, Wenona Miller; two brothers, Jimmy Presley, Scott Presley; eight grandchildren, Matt and Josh White, Leslie, Lindsay and T. J. Shields, Bob Shields, Kendra Adams, Taryn Henry and Alyson Millsaps; friends, Missy Lindsey, Susan Wormsley and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Hepperly officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
