HALL, JANICE M. - age 88 of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospice Andersonville Pike, Halls. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church since 1938, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a retired nurse from Lake City Nursing Home. She loved nursing and gave of herself freely to many in her community. She was a compassionate person. Preceded in death by son, Kyle Raymond Hall, and husband, Herman J. Hall. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Ted Eddins of Knoxville son, Richard J. Hall of Panama City, Florida daughter-in-law, Faye Hall of Lake City sisters, Juanita Payne of Joshua Tree, Calif., Mildred Riley of Anderson, Ind., Eunice Zimmer of Chesterfield, Ind., and Della L. Riley of Pendleton, Ind. brother, John Richards of Louisville, Ky., and cousin, Charles E. (Trapper) Osborne of Murray, Ky. grandchildren, Janice Sumter, Alice Fields, Barry Eddins ,Scott Eddins and Mitzi Hemphill of Knoxville, Cindy Sweere of Raleigh, N.C., and J. J. Hall of Clinton great-grandchildren, Ashley Eddins , Andy Eddins , Chassity Fields, Isabel and Evan Sweere. Special friends, Virginia Foust and the Grace Sunday School Class of Main Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Main Street Baptist Church, Lake City, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2003. Funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2003, at Jellico Cemetery, Jellico, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial gifts be made to Main Street Baptist Church Family Life Center, P. O. Box 405, 115 E. Fourth St., Lake City, TN 37769. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home, Knoxville.
