She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sarah Holt Thornton. She is survived by her husband, Bob Layman, of Dandridge; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Ann and Steve Ogle; granddaughter, Stevie Leigh Ogle, of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Frank Manning, of Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
