He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U. S. Army, retired from ALCOA and was a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Wilson, Lawrence Wilson and sister, Thelma Shinpaugh. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Greg Lankford; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mayford and Bettie Wilson and Glen and Shirley Wilson; sister, Lucille Cagle; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Fred Hansen all of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry Sherrer officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
