Richard Phelps, 57, of Maryville, Tenn., passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, at his home. He is preceded in death by his father, John R. Phelps Sr. He is survived by his mother, Margie Phelps; brother, Arthur Ray Phelps; two sisters, Alice (Rennie) and Larry Titlow, and Debbie Merriman. Niece, Nikki and Mike Hicks; nephews, Mickey Titlow, Robby Titlow, Clint and Lindsay Merriman. Two great-nephews Gavin and Austin Hicks; and many loving friends and family. A celebration of Richards life will be held between 3-6 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013, at the Greenbelt Pavilion. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
