(November 3, 1946 - February 14, 2013) Della Marie (Jackson) Parks age 66 of Parrottsville passed away Thursday February 14, 2013. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church in Parrottsville. She was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Geneva ( Phillips) Jackson, sisters Dorothy Ruth Jackson and Mary Wrenn. Daughter-in-law Karen Parks and brother-in-law Gene Wrenn. Surviving are her sons, Doyle (Lynda) Parks Jr., Michael Jackson and daughter Donna (Jimmy) Ellison. Brothers Charles, Alfred (Brenda) and Delmar Jackson. Sisters Judy (Randy) Branning, Wanda (Jerry) Brandt, and Doris (Frank) Hall. Grandchildren: Toni & Hunter Ellison, Morgan, Logan, Michaela and Madison Jackson, Ridge & Gage and Dixie Parks. There is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will mourn the departure of Della. The visitation will be Saturday February 16, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM. The funeral will be Sunday 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Richard Kinsland officiating. The burial will be on Sunday February 17, 2013 following the funeral at the Faubian Cemetery.
