Mr. Jerry D. Breeden, age 65, of Newport passed away, Tuesday, December 25, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Swannie Breeden; sister, Rita Ann Williams; brother, William James (Billy) Breeden. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Ann Breeden of Newport; daughter, Jill Breeden of Middlesboro, KY; daughter and son-in-law, Susie and John Daruna of Newport; stepchildren, Angela Sutton and husband Joe; Lauren Lovell and husband Grant all of Newport; sisters, Jennie Ruth Whaley, Barbara Breeden, Mary Violet and husband Billy all of Newport, Cordy Marshall and husband Jimmy of Bybee; grandchildren, Jessie Daruna, Zachery Daruna, Alex and John Epperson, Olivia and Aaron Sutton, Kerra Lovell; special uncle and aunt, Eugene and Madaline Murrell of Bogard. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, December 28, 2007 in Breeden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Relay for Life, American Cancer Society @ Betty Harrison, 567 First Street, Newport, Tenn. 37821, or to Toys for Tots @ Newport Fire Dept., 103 C Ave., Newport, Tenn. 37821.
