Imogene Elizabeth Ailey Worex, age 78, of Newport, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 26, 2007. She was a member of Centerview Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Jake Ailey and Daisy Ailey; sisters, Ruth Justus and Edna Coggins. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Reverend William (Bill) Worex; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Karen Worex, Billy and Shirley Worex ; granddaughter, Brandi Worex; grandsons and their wives, Brandon and Cassie Worex all of Newport, Josh and Evelyn Worex of Mosheim, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Anna Bea and Vernon Waldroup; brother, Walter Ailey, Jr.; brother-in-law, Jesse Ketner all of Newport; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Centerview Freewill Baptist Church, with Reverend Carl Bryan and Reverend Gary Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery; pallbearers will be, Ken Rutherford, Darrell Hall, Billy Bob Hembree, Chad Crum and Darrell Lane. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Monday, May 28, 2007 and Tuesday May 29, 2007.
