HARMON , MR. OSCAR - age 74 of Powell, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2002 at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1927 in Anderson Co. Tenn. He was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church of Claxton, Tenn. Oscar was a member of the Coal Creek Lodge #492. He loved working outdoors in his garden and flowers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Irene Heatherly Harmon ; daughter, Karen Harmon ; sister, Betty Harmon Foust; brother, Maynard Harmon . Survivors: wife, Alma Foust Harmon , Powell, Tenn.; son, Charles Eugene & wife, Debbie Harmon , Knoxville, Tenn.; daughter, Deborah Kay & husband, Barry Cash, Powell, Tenn.; brother, Hubert & wife, Betty Harmon , Clinton, Tenn.; sisters, Mary Ruth Walden & husband, Bill, Lake City, Tenn., Bonnie Byrge & husband, Mart, Lake City, Tenn., Elizabeth Edmonds & husband, Floyd, Knoxville, Tenn., Janie Jobe & husband, Curtis, Lake City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Samuel & Steven Harmon , Knoxville, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation, 6-9 p.m. Friday February 15, 2002 at the Cox-Martin Funeral Home with services 11 a.m. Saturday February 16, 2002 in the Cox-Martin Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Bunch officiating A Masonic service will be conducted by the Coal Creek Lodge #492. Interment to follow the funeral service at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Oak Ridge, Tenn. Cox-Martin Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.
