He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Maude Lane. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lane of Parrottsville; son Mike and Jeannie Lane of Parrottsville; daughter Teresa and Jason Black of Parrottsville; brothers Jim Lane and Ron Lane, of Dandridge; sisters Barbara Lane and Jane Ealy, of Dandridge; grandchildren Samantha Lane, Bradlee Lane and Chants Black of Parrottsville. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2011 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Wilson and Rev. Wayne Waycaster officiating.
