Gilbert Covington, 75, of Maryville, passed away January 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Urcle and Sally Kirby Covington; mother and father-in-law, Dedie and Aaron Terry; stepmothers, Aunice Covington and Lettie Covington; sons, Johnnie and Ronnie Covington; sister, Mary Ellen Covington; and sons-in-law, Ronnie McGill and Rocky Webb. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Roxie Covington; children, Roxie and Gordon Keith, Bill and Dixie Covington, Andrea and David Doolin, Sharon and Andy Bell, Steve and Rhonda Covington; Teresa Webb, and Mark and Crystal Covington; sisters, Gladys, Janice, Pat, Louise, Shirley, Debbie, and Martha; and brothers, Danny and Jackie. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Morton and Andy Bell officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at the funeral home to proceed to Louisville Memorial Cemetery for a 1 p.m. graveside service.
