Monnie Fay Galyon , age 69, passed away 7:40 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Morten and Mary Galyon ; brothers, Johnie, Raymond, Herman and Clyde Galyon ; and brother-in-law, Fred Potter.
Survivors include: brothers, Sherman Galyon , Mr. And Mrs. William Galyon , Mr. And Mrs. Chester Galyon , and Wenston Galyon ; sisters, Mr. And Mrs. Lloyd Whitehead, Mrs. Sarah Potter; two sisters-in-law, Anna B. Galyon and Helen Nichols; nieces, Linda, Sandra, Connie, Tammie and Lisa; nephews, Walter, Billy Clyde, Chester, Michael, Randy and Tim; several great-nieces and nephews and many friends and loved ones.
The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday November 28, 2004, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Hearon and Rev. Rex Everett officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Old Piney Cemetery. www.mccammonammonsclick.com
