Andrew Lawson Darnell, age 89 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church. Andrew was a retired plumber, a member of local 102 for over 60 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with two bronze stars, World War II Victory Medal, and the American Service Medal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dossie Darnell; sister, Oveda Beets; brothers, Bill Darnell and Posey Darnell

Wife of 65 years: Anna Lett Darnell
Daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Gary Chance
Grandchildren: Eddie McCarter, Leann McCarter
Special great-grandson: Spencer Bailey
Sister-in-law: Hilda Mays
