Mrs. Ruby Lee McMahan Shults, age 96, of Cosby, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Newport Medical Center.
She was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Creed 'Son' Shults, Jr., mother Sally McMahan, father-in-law and mother-in-law Creed Shults, Sr. and Ollie Shults, daughter Ermalene Williams, sons Eugene Shults and Marcus Leon Shults, and sisters Vigie McMahan Johnson Garver and Edna McMahan.
She is survived by her son Jack Shults, grandchildren Randall Oakley, Travis Shults, Todd Shanton, Mike Williams, and Sharon Williams, several great-grandchildren, son-in-law Frank Williams, and daughter-in-law Paulette Shults.
Additional survivors include nieces Betty Jo Lewis and Vivian Shults, and several friends, including longtime friends Ima Webb, Betty Shults, Edna Whitten, and Olie Williamson.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Fowler Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Pastor Leon Large will officiate.
