(October 6, 1927 - August 13, 2011) I.G. Teffeteller, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Saturday August 13, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born October 6, 1927 to the late Homer and Vera Russell Teffeteller. He was a dedicated family man and always worked hard to put his family first. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from ALCOA in 1989 after 42 years of service and was a member of the Alcoa 25 year club. Preceded in death by grandson, Matthew Gentry; parents, Homer and Vera Russell Teffeteller; brothers, Raymond, Cecil, Edd, and J.R. Teffeteller; son in law, William J. Gentry. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Reba Nell Chastain Teffeteller; his five children and their spouses, Eloise Gentry, Eleanor and John Stafford, Grant and Linda Teffeteller, Robin and David Brogan, and Glenn Teffeteller all of Maryville; grandchildren, Issac and Will Gentry, Jason Stafford, Jennifer Walker, Carrie Hilbert, Joshua Teffeteller, Taylor and Isabella Brogan and four great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and four great step grandchildren; brothers, George, Kenneth, and Bill Teffeteller all of Maryville; sister, Helen Benson of Mayetta, Kansas. The graveside and interment service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday August 17, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery, Rev. Darryl Wilson officiating.
